I haven’t really been able to test much these few days, I was originally planning to do more testing on Beat, but I have a test in two weeks.

My RBV8 came and I got Hell Crown 130FB. I really like how Crown looks, and FB is like awesome, so I’ll probably be testing that. :)

I might or might not be able to squeeze in the Beat and FB testing in these two weeks, as it’s been pretty hectic, but I might. Just maybe.

- Just thought I’d start off testing with the cookie-cutter BD145CS set-up.
- Nope. Failed horribly.

MF-H Beat (Defense) GB145RDF
- Let’s try GB145 as it has good synergy with Beat and RDF is awesome for defense.
- If this evades an early hit from Phantom, it will actually win, but…
- When Phantom lands an early hit, it goes soaring to wonderland.

MF-H Beat (Defense) TH220CS
- Let’s go up in the sky!
- It worked for a few rounds, but failed later on.

Screw defense. Onto stamina tests. Or test. (Against Duo Pegasus II 230D)

Beat (Defense) Lynx TH220D
- Beat! Y U SO MUCH RECOIL!?
- In other words, this would either go flying or kneel to the flying horse.

Recently, I unboxed a RBV7, and to my surprise I pulled a Beat Lynx TH170WD! Did not see that coming ;) Expect some random testing and stuff, don’t know when I’ll be able to post them though. Beat Lynx is probably my favourite Beyblade now, it looks awesome.

What I had in mind was a combo which grinds your opponent. And the heights really matter on this combo. Use CH145 when you battle BD145, and for some reason, CH120 does good against Phantom AD145WD, but not against Duo AD145WD.

I chose Death as it is kinda uneven in attack mode, so it can grind the opponent, I guess. Then Pisces is just to expose the spikes and not get in the way. Then CH120 as it can change the height which is very useful for this combo, and lastly MB because it has decent stamina and doesn’t get knocked out as easily as WD. I was using RDF at first, but it had way to little stamina.

This is a hybrid between attack and stamina, leaning strongly to the stamina side, but it doesn’t really do well against it’s own type. You could also call this a moving stamina type, I guess. One thing though, this combo does not KO anything. I said that it is an attack-stamina combo only because it moves around.

Hello everyone! Ickle here. So, a few days ago, I had a random combo that came to my mind. The combo is Death (Attack mode) Uranus 100/105RS/RB. I picture this as a combo that could defeat AD145 stamina combos. Sure, an attack type could easily defeat AD145 stamina combos in a blink of an eye, but think of this as a err, more fun way of defeating them, I guess. What am I trying to achieve with this combo? Well, I would say that it is sort of a destabilizing combo. See, when you put Death on attack mode, it has these spikes right? So that would be where it destabilizes. I suggested Uranus as it is the smallest Clear Wheel, so it could expose the spikes more than other Clear Wheels. The reason for 100/105RS/RB is kinda obvious so yeah. • No Metal Face? I’m surprised since this is sort of a LTDC, and a Metal Face seems like a natural fit.
My answer: IMO, this is sort of a attack/defense hybrid, except that it’s stationary. Moreover, it’s more for defeating 145-height stamina combos.
• I like your idea of using Uranus to expose Death’s “teeth,” but actually if you’re trying to attack from below with Death’s Attack Mode your clear wheel choice is more dependent on either using a flatter clear wheel or one that has good “clear wheel attack” rather than a clear wheel with a smaller diameter. I’ll go over both of those here:
• For the first part, think of Death kind of like Screw in that it wants flat wheels to expose the attack points. Horogium is a good choice, though the imbalance is annoying. Pisces is good and not imbalanced, but it gets taller closer to the center with I find annoying on Death’s Attack Mode. Basically you’re looking for clear wheels that stay out of the way and that do not get hit so that Death’s teeth get the work done. To that end, Uranus is actually a little tall, so I’d be sort of worried it might get hit in this case.
• For the second part, you want a clear wheel that’s as offensive as you can get. Quetzalcoatl is a marvelous choice, as is Scorpio and a few others. My personal favorite for clear wheel attack is Crown, though Quetzalcoatl probably has better synergy with Death. Uranus doesn’t offer much to this end.
• RB and RS behave quite differently, but more importantly RB is CONSIDERABLY taller than RS to the point that if you found a magic track/tip height combo using RS, you couldn’t use the same track with RB or your bey will be too tall. I’m now glad I made that tip height thread because I can say that RB is exactly 6 higher than RS :3
• You’ve chosen two interesting tips for this idea. Neither tip has amazing stamina, and neither is particularly aggressive (well, RB can be aggressive at the start of the match); they make this look like a LTDC that also happens to uppercut 145-height Stamina beys as oppose to the other way around.

Okay, with that out of the way, onto some testing! I’m testing against Phantom Cancer AD145WD which I think fits the bill for what you wanted to use this against. (I want to take this time to note that W145 is probably a more potent threat at this point, but they’re both the same height so it won’t change much for this custom)

• Death Uranus 100RB: I started with this because I feel like RB will have a better time in this combo and 100 was the lower track you mentioned. This was hard to get to work, not going to lie. The only way this custom wins is if I bank like a madman and try to make RB as aggressive as possible, and then Death has to sort of “push” Phantom out of the arena. Failing that, RB just doesn’t have the stamina to OS a pure stamina type, and the bey is a little too tall for significant destabilization to go on.
• Death Uranus 100RS: Maybe going a little lower will help? Well, this was closer to the right height, but it was still too tall. Since RS isn’t aggressive, there was no way for it to really KO Phantom at all, so this never won a match. This custom needs at least the aggressiveness of RB, if not something flatter.
• MF-H Death Pisces 85RB: This was my take on the idea, and while it did a little better it was actually barely too short to destabilize well!
• MF-H Death Pisces 90RB: Now this is more like it. Death is finally destabilizing Phantom, but it still isn’t enough to ever OS it. The only wins came from KOs from the aggressive launch I mentioned earlier.

- My idea was a total flop, I guess. But I’ll try to think of more combos. :)
